According to the Public Relations of Justice of East Azarbaijan Province, following the preparations made in order to launch the electronic trial system, for the first time in the province, the interrogation session of the accused was held by video conference.

During this video conference, the investigator of the 14th branch of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Revolution of Tabriz Martyr Judge Tabatabaei Judicial Complex had a video conversation with the accused in the case and interrogated the accused in the case through a video link with the central prison of Tabriz.
The purpose of setting up this system is to save time and money and provide high security for the accused and prisoners. By setting up the electronic trial and interrogation system, there is no need to send prisoners for trial or interrogation.
The manner of holding the interrogation or trial in person or in person is at the discretion of the judge of the case or the investigator of the investigating branch, and if he has discretion, he can be held in person or in person according to the conditions and subject and content of the case.
