At present, despite the fact that 97% of the drugs required by the country are produced domestically, a significant part of the raw materials of these drugs are supplied from abroad, which is against the general health policies.

Regarding the provision of sustainable financial resources for the health sector, he stated: The imposition of duties on products and materials and services that are harmful to health should be reviewed.

The member of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary pointed out: “The issue of the priority of prevention over treatment and its requirements is very important, and in this case, the issue of information, public awareness and sensitization in society should be considered.”

Emphasizing the support of the General Inspection Organization in carrying out the missions of the Ministry of Health, he continued: “The issue of supervision is one of the most important issues that should be considered and the General Inspection Organization is ready to improve the monitoring process and reduce possible resistance to supervision.” Assist the Ministry of Health in various areas, including food and medicine.

Referring to Ayatollah Ra’isi’s recent mission to the Inspection Agency to review the Health Transformation Plan, he said: Imposed and our studies indicate that the objectives of this plan have not been achieved.
