Judiciary »The Supreme Leader of the Revolution agreed to pardon and commute the sentences of a number of convicts


On the occasion of the resurrection of Hazrat Khatami, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Mohammad Mustafa, peace be upon him and his family, agreed to offer amnesty or commutation and commute the sentences of 741 convicts of the General and Revolutionary Courts, the Government Penitentiary Organization and the Judiciary Organization of the Armed Forces.

According to the General Directorate of Public Relations of the Judiciary, on the occasion of the resurrection of Hazrat Khatami, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Mohammad Mustafa, peace be upon him, offered amnesty or commutation and commuted the sentences of seven hundred and forty-one (741) convicts of the Public and Revolutionary Courts. The Judiciary Organization of the Armed Forces agreed.

In a letter to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Hojjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Ejei, the head of the Judiciary, proposed pardon or commutation and commutation of the sentences of those convicted who were deemed eligible by the General Directorate of Amnesty and Pardon of the Judiciary. 110 constitutions were approved by Ayatollah Khamenei.
