The head of the judicial system clarified: We consider the protesters to be separate from the rioters and we have emphasized to the relevant judicial authorities to separate the innocent, less guilty and deceived people of the recent riots from the main elements and take necessary measures to release them.
Referring to the request of one of the students of Birjand University to stop the investigation of the case of Birjandi students who were arrested in the recent riots, Hojjat-ul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Mohseni Ajeei said: “Make sure you provide me with the names of the students for whom cases have been filed in recent cases in Birjand universities, and I will I order that if they have committed a crime, according to their crime and considering things like being a student, their case should be investigated and legal sanctions will be announced against them.
Qazi al-Qadat continued: We believe that even some rioters may have been deceived and it is appropriate to pay attention to this issue. But the important thing is to know the weaknesses of our management and listen to the pain and protests of the people because if we do not pay attention to our shortcomings and deficiencies, all the pains may not be cured.

Referring to the students’ demand to hold public economic corruption trials, the judge said: “Since the seventies, I have insisted on holding public trials in accordance with the constitution and regulations, but in any case, regulations have been established by the Majlis and others in this regard.”

Akram Salahi, the representative of Birjand University students, addressed the head of the judicial system and said: We are protesting, we are not rioters; Draw a line between the protester and the rioter.

“Ali Lorestani”, the representative of the students of Technical and Vocational University, addressed Hojjatul-Islam wal-Muslimin Mohseni Ajeei and said: I have a complaint; Of course, I don’t expect miracles from you as the head of the judiciary, but I expect you to make our voice heard by the president and the minister of science at the meeting of the heads of the judiciary, why the per capita of technical and vocational university is one third of the per capita of others.
