Mahmoud Salari became the Deputy Minister of Arts of the Ministry of Guidance

According to Fars News Agency, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance in a decree appointed Mahmoud Salari as the Deputy Minister of Arts. In the sentence of Mohammad Mehdi Ismaili, it is addressed to Mahmoud Salari:

“Dear Mr. Mahmoud Salari

In view of your merits and background, Your Excellency, and in view of the revolutionary spirit and school you enjoy, you are hereby appointed Deputy Minister of Arts.

It is hoped that by relying on God Almighty and benefiting from an artistic perspective, and by considering the goals and duties of the Deputy Minister of Arts, you will undertake the following missions:

1- Putting the historical message of Imam Rahel (as) at the forefront on September 21, 1988 as a permanent cultural charter of artistic activities in Islamic Iran

2- Paying special attention to activities and artistic productions with the identity of Iranian-Islamic and revolutionary culture and introducing this huge capacity at the national and international levels, especially in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication.

3- Paying attention to the subject of art economics and promoting artistic activities and laying the groundwork for necessary preparations for business development and promoting artistic professions, as well as establishing relations with ministries, municipalities and cultural institutions to plan and support artistic productions that promote Provides the general culture of the country.

4- Honoring, honoring and glorifying the elders, veterans, experts and the general public in appropriate and effective ways

5- Participation, cooperation and synergy between the institutions in charge of cultural and artistic affairs and scientific and academic centers

6- Paying special attention to the development of art in the provinces all over the country with the aim of realizing the slogan of cultural justice

7- Compiling national documents of visual arts, music, fashion and clothing, as well as reviewing and compiling a comprehensive document on art education with the approach of strengthening the epistemological image of Iranian-Islamic art and also following laws related to cultural and artistic activities to present and approve them in the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution. And the implementation of laws and regulations and upstream documents, especially legal duties, have been suspended and not implemented

8- Smartening all administrative processes and facilitating and accelerating the performance of missions and providing services to the people of art and monitoring and active presence in cyberspace in order to promote Iranian-Islamic and revolutionary culture and art.

9- Paying attention to other types of arts, including applied arts and creative cultural industries

10- Developing educational justice of art through balanced completion of art schools in the country, updating educational standards with emphasis on Iranian-Islamic cultural identity, improving the quality of free art education and skills training and strengthening continuous and effective supervision.

11- Strengthening affiliated institutions and financial discipline and optimal use of resources, budget and credits and maintaining, recovering, repairing and updating equipment, facilities, halls and unique buildings affiliated to the Deputy Minister of Arts in cooperation with other departments of the relevant ministry

12- Continuous and close cooperation with the cultural and artistic centers of mosques to hold art education courses and use the high capacity of non-governmental organizations.

It is necessary to provide quarterly reports on the progress of the above 12 paragraphs and the transformation plans announced by the government and the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

“I ask God Almighty for more success in serving the holy system of the Islamic Republic and achieving the goals of the people’s government, under the care of Hazrat Vali-e-Asr (AS) and the wise leadership of Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei (AS).”

It is worth mentioning that Mahmoud Salari was born in 1349 and has a master’s degree in linguistics, a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in art.

Among his backgrounds are the Vice Chancellor of the Radio and Television University of the 1980s, Director General of the Office of Cultural Studies and Activities of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Managing Director and Chairman of the Iranian Fiction Foundation, Member of the Board of Trustees and Vice Chairman of the Exhibitions Institute Farhangi Iran, a member of the board of directors of the Book House Institute, the managing director of the Dramatic Literature Foundation, the director of the specialized offices of Ofogh Network, a member of the Production Council of Sima Film, etc.

Known in art circles as familiar with Iranian song and music, he has written plays for radio and collaborated with Soroush and IRIB magazines, and has taught literature and art criticism courses.

Teaching screenwriting, literature in high school and Shahid Motahari University, Imam Sadegh (AS) University, Imam Hussein (AS) University, secretary of the first student film festival, member of the policy council for book fairs abroad, advisor to the Deputy Minister of Cultural Affairs of the Ministry of Culture and Guidance Eslami, Member of the Book Purchasing Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Executive Secretary of the 2nd Fajr International Poetry Festival and Member of the Policy Council, Member of the Policy Council of the Tehran International Book Fair, Member of the Policy Council of the 30th Anniversary of the Revolution, Director of the Internal Publishers Committee Tehran International Book Festival, Judge of White Film, Prayer and Prayer Festivals, Tasnim, etc., Member of the Council for Support of Dramatic Works, Cultural Advisor to the Managing Director of Basij Cultural Holding, Production Advisor of the Iranian Youth Cinema Association, etc. It is considered as a cultural and artistic background.
