Media Tricks in Cognitive Sciences | Technique 69: Closed Vision

Fars News Agency – Media Group: The most important part of a network’s message is its official news, and the most important part of the news is the announcement of news headlines. Each media outlet determines its mental direction by choosing its headlines. To understand the view that foreign media want to show of Iran, it is enough to listen to their news headlines. Almost no positive news from the Iranian society is the headline of these media. This is where a technique called “trapped vision” is used. This is a perpetual and fabricated narrative of foreign media in order to keep the dissatisfied protesting audience with them forever.

Alireza Davoodi, Master of Media and Cognitive Sciences, in an interview with Fars, while explaining the function of foreign language Persian media regarding the “imprisoned vision” technique, said: “This technique says that it should be behaved in a way that society or the individual is watching.”

Davoodi added: “You can use a camera to see 10 kilometers away, what do you see?” You see the image you get from those two camera lenses, now what do you see if they put two designed scenes in front of the camera? So your view of the perceptions you get is locked in the designed view in front of the camera, 5 minutes show the space rainy, 5 minutes show the sunny space, 2 minutes show the space dry. For another 5 minutes, they show the space as a war, so your vision is imprisoned in the designer’s will, and eventually, as a result, your vision of the phenomena depicted is impaired.

The master of media and cognitive sciences continued: for example, showing dark, gloomy and chaotic scenes in Iran, when this is not really the case.

Mr. Davoodi said: “Closed vision is a magnification or minimization technique that is used in psychological operations. Both techniques are part of psychological operations. Closed vision is the result of magnification and magnification.”

“Magnification means that, for example, several people gather to protest against a subject, using this technique, these people are depicted as 500 people,” said the senior expert in media and cognitive sciences.
