Meeting of the Mayor of Tehran and the Head of the Prisons Organization

According to Fars News Agency’s urban group, Alireza Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, hosted Mohammad Mehdi Haj Mohammadi, the head of the Prisons Organization, this evening.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on common issues between the Tehran Municipality and the Prisons Organization, with a focus on paying attention to prisoners.

In this meeting, the necessity of forming a socio-cultural working group between the municipality and the prisons organization, creating jobs for prisoners and taking care of the families of Tehran prisoners was emphasized.

The two sides also talked about how to reduce social harms in the city of Tehran in line with the social responsibility of Tehran Municipality with the help of the prison organization.
