NASA decides to launch rocket into space from Northern Australia

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced that he will accept the launch of NASA rockets from the private sector of the Arnhem Space Center in Australia, IRNA reported on Wednesday.

“This project is very exciting and it is an honor for all of us Australians that NASA is directly involved in this project on Australian soil,” the Australian Prime Minister said in a press conference in Darwin, the capital of the northern state.

NASA’s mission is to investigate solar physics, astrophysics and planetary scientific phenomena that can only be seen from the Southern Hemisphere. The first rocket will be launched on June 26, and the next rockets will be launched on July 4 and 12, respectively.

According to Anthony Albanyz, about 75 NASA personnel will be in Australia for the event, the first by the US Air Force since 1995.

The Australian Arnhem Space Center recently received a NASA launch permit and permission to launch after two years of evaluation by the Australian Space Agency. The Government of Northern Australia has supported the project since its inception and has invested A $ 5 million in the development of the Arnhem Australia Space Center.
