“One Hundred Years of Iranian Painting” called / “Holy Signs” and “Mons John” become spectacular


According to Fars News Agency, the National Conference “One Hundred Years of Contemporary Iranian Painting” was organized by the Vice Chancellor for Research and Art of this academy with the aim of identifying and preserving and analyzing the works of painting in the last one hundred years. Niavaran Cultural Center will soon host a solo exhibition of Mahshid Saberipoor calligraphy called “Mons Jan”. An exhibition of calligraphy by Mahshid Saberi ‌pour will be held on November 5 in Gallery No. 2 by the Niavaran Cultural Center. This exhibition will be exposed to the public with 30 calligraphic works by this artist.

Saberipour, born in the spring of Tehran, has a law degree and has spent two decades of his life acquiring various skills in the field of art, including drawing with black pen, hyperreal, watercolor painting, acrylic, oil paint, gold design. He gained skills in the field of aesthetics, composition and visual arts under the supervision of Professor Ali Faramarzi and, realizing his strong interest in calligraphy in this field, and in this field from the experiences of prominent professors such as Professor Ismail Rashvand and Professor Gholam Hossein Altafi Has benefited.

Niavaran Cultural Center will host the second exhibition of Abdullah Moghaddasi calligraphy. An exhibition of Abdullah Moghaddasi’s calligraphic works will be held on November 5 at Gallery No. 1 by the Niavaran Cultural Center.

This exhibition consists of 15 calligraphic works by this artist, entitled Holy Verses and the Use of the Divine Word; It is especially in the name of God that will be exposed to the public. These works have been evaluated in terms of form and space as well as large dimensions and in fact completely avant-garde, personal and away from any proximity to common examples in Iran and the world.

He was born in August 1977 in Tehran. In the presence of professors such as Professor Mohammad Heydari and Sedaghat Jabbari, he has acquired various skills in the field of art. Selected artist of the Calligraphy Conference of the Islamic World in the New Trends section in 1996.

Although he considers his works to be far removed from calligraphy and even calligraphy, his works are evaluated in the style of abstract calligraphy.
