The spokesman of the Blood Transfusion Organization, referring to the highest amount of blood donation in the first 6 months of this year, said: Qazvin, Khorasan Razavi and Hormozgan provinces have had the highest amount of blood donation during this period.
Haji Beigi reported a 7% increase in blood donation in the first 6 months of this year compared to the same period last year and added: In this period, 1,782,200 units of blood and its products, including compressed red blood cells, plasma and platelets Medical centers have been distributed, which shows an increase of 9.6% compared to the same period last year.
He stated: 90% of blood donors in the country have a positive blood type and 10% have a negative blood type.
The spokesman of the Blood Transfusion Organization, referring to the growth of blood donation in women, noted: Lorestan, Qazvin, Khuzestan, East Azerbaijan provinces have had the highest growth in women’s blood donation in the first 6 months of this year.
Haji Beigi added: The provinces of Lorestan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Kurdistan and Golestan had the highest rate of women’s blood donation.
He emphasized: “Due to the increase in surgeries and the increasing need for blood and its products, altruistic people should be more fortunate in donating blood.”
A spokesman for the Blood Transfusion Service said: “People who have received Sputnik and Astraznka wax are exempt from donating blood for up to 2 weeks. Recovered coronary arteries can donate blood one month after recovery.
