According to the Mehr reporter, Mohsen Zanganeh stated in a public session of the Islamic Consultative Assembly today (Sunday, May 16) in a verbal warning: At present, 25 thousand and 500 billion Tomans of monthly subsidies for basic goods are paid.
He said: “Some villages have not yet received livelihood subsidies, and I believe it would have been better if we had given this subsidy to all people in order to allay the concerns that have arisen at the community level.”
A member of the Program and Budget Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: If we subsidized basic goods to all people, 2,500 billion tomans more subsidy would be paid monthly, which is not a large amount and it is necessary to pay attention to this issue.
The representative of the people of Torbat Heydariyeh in the Islamic Consultative Assembly continued: The system of the Ministry of Welfare has many problems and the people are complaining about this issue. It is better to include all people in the subsidy, and after the evaluations, to inform the people who have more income and are not included in this plan, via SMS, that they will not be included in the subsidy.
Zanganeh emphasized: “These days, many people come to us and protest about this.” I talked to the Minister of Economy on the phone and he accepted. The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly is expected to raise this issue at the summit.
In response to this remark, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said: “According to the government’s announcement, out of 10 deciles of the society, 9 deciles have been included in receiving livelihood assistance and the necessary predictions are being made.” There are problems and some people have not received the subsidy yet, but people are sure that the people who should receive the subsidy will definitely receive the subsidy.
Ghalibaf stressed that the necessary reforms should be made immediately and subsidies should be given to the survivors, saying: “Yesterday, a meeting of the heads of forces was held and we discussed and discussed in detail about this.” After the meeting, the commanders of the forces responsible for the implementation of the plan convened a meeting to review it.
The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly added: “People should be sure that even if there is a delay, the subsidy will be paid to the individuals and villages that should be given, and there is no need to worry.” The only difference between the deciles is the amount of subsidy, which is paid 300 thousand tomans to some deciles and 400 thousand tomans to others.
