Presence of two Iranian plays in the Golden Lion Festival of Ukraine
2 plays “Holodomor” and “Auschwitz Women” will participate in the 32nd International Golden Lion Festival of Ukraine.
Theater News Base: ۲ The play “Holodomor” directed by Raha Haji Zeinel and “Auschwitz Women” directed by Ali Safari were invited to participate in the 32nd International Golden Lion Festival of Ukraine.
The two plays will compete in the Golden Lion Festival in Lviv with works from Italy, Canada, Poland, Hungary, Ukraine, Georgia, the United States and Slovakia.
This is the first time that the Golden Lion Festival of Ukraine will host a group from Iran.
Amir Norouzi, Amir Shams, Nafiseh Zare, Mehdi Abu Hamzeh, Raha Haji Zainal, Ali Safari, Nazanin Mihan, Sarina Azadmilani, Mohammad Pasandideh and Hassan Mohammadian are the actors who will play roles in the play “Holodomor”.
Also, Amir Shams, Raha Haji Zainal, Nazanin Mihan and Sarina Azadmilani are the actors of “Women’s Auschwitz”.
Reza Joyandeh will be composing the music for the play “Holodomor” and Roozbeh Akhavan will be composing the music for the play “Auschwitz Women”. .
The above two plays will be performed in public at the Pichresky Theater in Kiev before attending the Golden Lion Festival. After performing these works, the “Triple” theater group plans to perform in Poland, Armenia and Georgia.
