According to Mehr reporter, the 11th to 15th episodes of the first season of the documentary series “Good Neighbors”, produced by Sourah Documentary Center, directed by Mehdi Bakshi Moghaddam and produced by Mehdi Shamhammadi, which started on December 3rd, will be shown to the audience this week.

“Ms. and Mr. Malaek” is the title of the eleventh episode of this documentary series, which will be broadcast tonight on December 17. For nearly 10 years, this couple spends one day of the week, which is usually Monday, preparing and cooking food for homeless people and drug addicts who are looking for a bite of hot food in the streets and parks.

They have formed a charity group with the cooperation of friends and acquaintances called “Dilshadgan” so that maybe an addicted person will be encouraged to quit and get clean by seeing this respect. Every week, this husband and wife go to the hangouts of drug addicts in Shush and Molavi neighborhoods and give them warm food and clothes so that they may be able to play a role in getting rid of an addict and thus freeing a family from the problem of addiction.

The twelfth episode of this work, which will be broadcast on Sunday, December 18, depicts the story of “Morteza Salehi” for the audience; A doctor who is from Noor city of Mazandaran province but has been practicing medicine in Chabahar city of Sistan and Baluchistan province for about 8 years.

He first went to Chabahar to complete his military service, but after his service, he stayed in Chabahar due to the lack of doctors in the region and the connection he had with the people there. Salehi is currently trying to meet the health and construction needs of the residents of the villages and the Kapar residents of the outskirts of Chabahar for free.

“Dear Takhjem” is the subject of the 13th episode of “Good Neighbors” that will air on Monday, December 19. It tells about the establishment of the “Eshg” school and free education for children left out of school in Shush neighborhood of Tehran.

“Honorable Takhjem” is one of the well-meaning philanthropists of Tehran, who by establishing a school called “Eshg” school in Shush neighborhood of Tehran, educates children who miss out on education for free. Currently, about 70 children are studying in “Eshg” school. Also, all the teachers of “Eshg” school have undertaken the education and literacy of the students as volunteers in the school.

In order to prevent children from dropping out, this school supports them in educational and cultural matters and follows the approaches of empowering them by holding cultural-artistic classes and educational assistance.

The saving of the Hyrkan forests is the subject of the fourteenth episode titled “Farhad Masoudi”, which the audience of this documentary series can watch on Tuesday, December 20.

Farhad Masoudi, a forester, is from the village of Siah Rudbar, one of the districts of Aliabad, Katul, Golestan province, who has so far succeeded in preserving the Hyrkan forests and the redwood tree reserve in the region with the help of the villagers and with the initiative and implementation of new solutions.

In order to prevent the cutting of trees, he organizes nature tours and educational tours and helps the livelihood of the villagers for those who are looking for a suitable job and stable income, so that they no longer need to cut yew trees and the income from its wood smuggling.

The 15th episode of this documentary series is called “The Holy Fasting of Al-Yasin” which tells the story of “Khiriya Baghiat” for the audience. A charity made up of young people from the 70s who all gather together in the “Holy Rosary of Al Yassin” which is held on Fridays.

In this episode, the audience gets to know young people who, despite their busy schedule, try to improve themselves and those around them. These people prepare dignified food packages for needy families who live in the outskirts of Tehran every month and also on different occasions. This episode will be aired on Wednesday, December 21.

The first season of “Good Neighbors”, produced in 22 30-minute episodes, will be broadcast from Saturday to Wednesday at 19:00 on the Egogh network, and it will be repeated at 13:00 the next day.
