Shajarian and Meshkatian’s spring gift + movie

Spring has always been a sign of newness and rebirth, no matter what culture you look at, from the east and the west, spring has a fixed and the same concept; In the season when the cold leaves the earth, favorable heat radiates to the life of nature and the earth becomes green again.

Charso Press: The album “Bahar Dehlik” was created by a group of famous Iranian music artists including Mohammad Reza Shajarian, Parviz Meshkatian, Dariush Pirniakan, Nasser Farhangfar and Homayoun Shajarian. A work that may be less known among the general public; At least, compared to the ballad “Bahar Delikh”, which is also a description of spring.

Since the late Meshkatian collaborated in this album, the centaur is one of the dominant instruments of the work, which, by the way, as it comes from Meshkatian, has beautifully depicted the work and created an atmosphere that is specific to spring.

The presence of Nasser Farhangfar in this album has made tanbak to be one of the other main instruments of this album, which has sometimes performed alongside Meshkatian’s instrument. Farhangfar even sings in a piece while playing the tonbak, of course, due to Pirniakan’s presence in the album, the string is also one of the main instruments of the work, but what is heard more is the sound of the centaur and tonbak.

In any way, this album is what is expected from an Iranian song in the description of spring; Melodies that give the listener a sense of freshness and spring. Shajarian has also had other successful experiences with Meshkatian, Pirniakan and Farhangfar.

But as it was mentioned, among other works of Shajarian about spring is the ballad “Bahar Delikh”; A piece from the album “Love Knows” with a poem by Malek Al-Shaarai Bahar. “Eshg Dand” or “Abu Ata” concert, sung by Mohammad Reza Shajarian and played by Mohammad Reza Lotfi on the string, was performed on March 14, 1359 at the German Embassy and was officially published in 1376.

This work, which is originally one of Darvish Khan’s ballads, was performed in the voice of Abu Ata, the corner of Hijaz. So far, singers such as Abdullah Davami, Mohammad Reza Shajarian, Alireza Ghorbani, Rashid Behdouf, Aref, Shakila, Vahid Taj, Salar Aghili, Darya Dadour and Mohammad Motamedi, Seyyed Khalil Aali Nejad have performed this ballad.

This work, which begins with the name of the piece, is the narration of a lover who tells about his lover and asks him to change his ways with his lover now that spring has arrived.
