He stated that on this day, the services provided on lines 1, 2, 3, 4, and 7 of the Tehran Metro and the suburbs will increase, and he stated: Considering the location of a number of Tehran Metro stations on the route of the magnificent procession on 22 Bahman, the use of this transport fleet Intra-city rail is the best choice for citizens and Tehran Metro intends to provide the best services to citizens by reducing the distance of trains on this day.
The CEO of the Tehran and Suburbs Metro Operation Company added: On this day, with the increase in the dispatch of trains on lines 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7 of the Tehran and Suburbs Metro; The travel time on lines one and two will decrease from 7 minutes to 5 minutes, on line three from 10 minutes to 7 minutes, on line four from 7 minutes to 4 minutes, and on line seven from 14 minutes to 12 minutes. In addition, if needed, there are also preparations to send extraordinary trains.
By pointing out that the metro service is free from the beginning of the morning of 22nd of Bahman until the end of the march ceremony, Darshi pointed out that after the ceremony, passengers will be accepted at the stations on the march route for free to return the marchers to their destinations.
It should be noted that, according to the procedure of every year and in order to maintain order and security during the ceremony on the 22nd of Bahman, the Meydan Azadi metro station, located on line 4, will be closed until the end of the ceremony.
