The 17th station of Tehran Metro Line 7 will be inaugurated soon


According to Fars News Agency’s Urban Group, Public Relations and International Affairs of Tehran and Suburbs Railway Company (Metro) announced: After the start of operation of Shahid Rezaei station on line 6, now it is the turn of Tohid station to be the 17th station on line 7 To be available to the patient people of the capital. The executive operation of the construction project of Tohid station, which is located at the intersection of lines 4 and 7, began in 2015, and now, with the installation of the necessary equipment such as an escalator, it is close to the operation stage.

This station is located at the intersection of Azadi streets and Shahid Nawab Safavi highway and is the 141st station to be opened in the seven-line metro network of Tehran.

Tohid station, with a depth of 43 meters above the ground, is one of the deepest stations in the metro network and is located between the stations of the Defenders of Health and Shahid Nawab Safavid.

With the opening of the station, citizens of the four districts 2, 6, 10 and 11 will experience easier conditions to access the metro network, and therefore it is expected that this station will become one of the busiest metro stations.

The construction and completion of Tohid intersection station in difficult conditions of excavation, transportation of cargo and materials, equipment, etc. has been done only through a 35-meter deep shaft.
