He told Mehr reporter about this part of the plan: “In the plan to organize the land, housing and rental market, a tax on vacant land is foreseen, which aims to increase the supply of rental property, and municipalities are allowed to identify vacant land. and introduce to the tax authority. “The owners of these lands must also pay the anticipated fees to the municipalities, which will be spent on the development of urban transportation.”

Increase housing loan and deposit

Pointing out that the parliament set the housing deposit facility ceiling in Tehran at 200 million tomans, Shakri said: “Accordingly, the ceiling of the housing deposit facility in Tehran in the first year of implementation of the aforementioned law will be 200 million tomans, provincial centers will be 150 million tomans, and other cities will be 100 million tomans. . Until now, the rent loan limit in Tehran was 100 million, provincial centers 70 and other cities 40 million tomans.

According to one of the important articles of this plan, the central bank is obliged, if approved by the Supreme Housing Council, through the operating banks, to pay deposit assistance facilities to vulnerable demographic groups in the field of housing based on the priority that is given within one month to the joint proposal. The Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and the Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare are approved by the Supreme Housing Council.
