The claims of the UN Special Rapporteur are biased and worthless

According to IRNA, Saeed Khatibzadeh, in response to the intentional and confrontational report of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran, referred to the report submitted to the 76th session of the UN General Assembly based on a selective attitude. And assessed it as politically motivated and rejected the ridiculous and worthless allegations made in this report.

The State Department spokesman stressed that the report was prepared in violation of the principles and criteria set forth in the “rules governing the work of reporters”, including “the need to obtain facts through objective and reliable information from credible sources.” The report can in no way provide a true and accurate assessment of the human rights situation in Iran.

Recalling the Special Rapporteur’s constant hostilities and baseless accusations, Khatibzadeh stressed: “This record has completely damaged the credibility of his reports and turned it into a political statement by terrorist groups and opponents of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Referring to the political and illegitimate agenda of this report, the Foreign Ministry spokesman regretted the reporter’s deliberate focus on the allegations and his lack of attention to measures and measures leading to the promotion of human rights in Iran: As before It has been repeatedly emphasized that appointing a Special Rapporteur on human rights for a country like Iran, which has come under pressure from US economic terrorism and continues to live up to its commitments to its citizens and the international community, is fundamentally unjustified and unconstructive.

Khatibzadeh stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran, as a democratic system and within the framework of its religious obligations and adherence to the Constitution and other laws and international treaties, has taken steps to develop and promote human rights at the national, regional and international levels. “The Special Rapporteur must first wake up and condemn the destructive effects of economic terrorism on Iranians’ access to basic necessities, including medical and pharmaceutical items during the Corona,” he said.

The State Department spokesman concluded by pointing to the main founders and supporters of the Special Rapporteur’s agenda, noting that some of the countries that carry out the most international human rights attacks against the Islamic Republic of Iran have imposed or enforced oppressive sanctions against the people. Iran, the sale of advanced weapons to criminals, strategic cooperation with the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people, and support for terrorist groups are among the largest human rights violators in the world.
