The Director General of Mediation and Arbitration Development of the Dispute Resolution Council was appointed

According to Fars News Agency, Hojjatoleslam and Muslimeen Sadeghi appointed Hamid Babaei, director of the Center for Dispute Resolution Development, as director general of mediation and arbitration.

The appointment states: In your knowledge and experience, you will be appointed Director General of Mediation Development and Arbitration at the Dispute Resolution Development Center. Given the mission of this center in developing alternatives to litigation, you are expected to make every effort to improve the arbitration and mediation system and other popular methods of resolving disputes, especially the spread of peace and reconciliation.

Babaei’s records include university faculty membership and judging in the judiciary.

Previously, this position was held by Abolfazl Mohebbi, the current judicial deputy of this center.
