Heydari stated that the main reasons for the vacant seats in specialized fields are due to the very difficult financial and job conditions during the residency period, as well as the future perspective of medicine, and stated: Since most of the residents are at an age where they have started a family and have children. they have, their two main concerns are providing for the family and also the time needed to be with the family, and since the assistants’ very small income does not cover the minimum expenses of the families, it is practically impossible for many doctors to spend four years in such conditions.

He further added: Apart from those very long and numerous shifts per month, the great fatigue caused by it, the intense stress of medical responsibility and the need to study at the same time, there is little strength and energy left for the cheerful and effective presence of medical assistants with their wives and children. and when all these hardships and spending of life and time are placed next to the not so attractive prospect after graduation, it creates a strong deterrent force against entering this difficult path.
