According to Fars news agency, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance emphasized the importance of art in education and said at the meeting of the Council of Arts: “The comprehensive document on art in education which is being compiled in this ministry, after being compiled in the next few months in the Council Art is designed.

The head of the art council also said: The approvals of the art council are continuously proposed and approved in the meetings of the Deputy Council of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, and the approval of the country’s art market plan and the creation of the Animation Foundation are among the recent approvals of the Deputy Council of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution.

In this meeting, with the presence of Council Chairman and Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad Mahdi Esmaili, and members of the Art Council, a report on the artistic activities of education and the Fajr art festivals was presented.

In the report that was presented about the artistic programs of the Ministry of Education for students, it was stated that the field of art and aesthetics is one of the areas of the fundamental transformation document of the Ministry of Education and the artistic activities of education are in two areas, formal and informal. The official part includes art courses at different levels of education and vocational and technical conservatories, and in the informal part, educational vice-chancellors plan artistic activities. The Ministry of Education in the general education department has programs in the field of art, including theater and hymns, such as lesson theater and lesson hymns.

In the specialized education department, art programs are designed in cultural and educational centers, and the intellectual development centers of children and teenagers carry out valuable activities in the field of culture and art, including storytelling, animation, book production and publication, visual workshops, etc.

The members of the art council expressed their opinions about the artistic activities of education.

Further, the report of the 42nd Fajr International Film Festival, the 42nd Fajr International Theater Festival, the 39th Fajr International Music Festival and the 16th Fajr Visual Arts Festival were presented in the Art Council.
