The need for branding Iranian handicrafts Fars news

According to Fars News Agency, Seyed Ezatullah Zarghami at the closing ceremony of the 6th Fajr Festival of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts, which was held at the National Museum of Iran, said: The field of handicrafts is a vast field and I believe that people can work in this field. 520 thousand We have colleagues in handicrafts who have registered in the systems and the same number of people who are active but have not registered.

He said: “Yesterday we held a conference on delegation and I announced that we will open the way for people in the field of handicrafts.” From now on, no one needs to ask our permission. Whoever registers in this system means announcing the license.

We have to break the chains on the hands and feet of those who want to work

The official added: “Today, the problem of the country is that the inefficient administrative system in different sectors, such as octopuses and ducks, is falling on the people and causing problems for the governments.” This system is like an octopus. At our own pace, we need to break the chains on the hands and feet of people who want to grow.

Zarghami reminded: “Today, we are giving an honorary diploma to the artist and prominent people. This is a good event, and I thank all the people and previous managers of the Deputy Minister of Handicrafts who founded these works.”

The handicraft artwork is alive

He continued: “I have been in contact with handicraft artists before and I know them.” I used to work in the field of production. Of course, there is no soul in machine productions, but we see spirit and beauty in works of art. A person who works in handicrafts, his whole being is affected by it and that effect is alive. I do not compliment on this and we do not want to talk fancy.

The Minister of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts reminded: We have 290 handicrafts in Iran. There are 310 to 360 disciplines in the world and we are at the highest levels in this field and we are ranked first in the world in diversity, that is our identity. Our marking in the world of anonymity today is our traditional handicrafts and arts, we have mastered this today and we are managing it to achieve its true growth.

Zarghami continued: “We must preserve our identity and values, but we must have a transformational view on this.”

He stated that the living conditions of our people are difficult at the moment: “In these circumstances, people may not be able to buy handicrafts, so the applied part of this art must be strengthened.” People like to live with handicrafts.

Handicraft products should be branded

He added: “First of all, we must work in this area so that handicrafts are included in people’s shopping carts.” Secondly, we have to work on packaging, and in the third step, we have to work seriously on branding. When a city or village produces first-class handicraft products, these products must be branded, which fortunately the parliament has also addressed. Hence branding is very important.

We must brand and Iranian handicrafts in terms of quality must be such that it can not be copied.

The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts reminded: “This festival will be branded for the coming years and we will create a global competition that can help strengthen and grow our handicrafts.”

At the end of his speech, he noted: “This festival is a good, valuable and spiritual work.” 99% of the raw materials of handicrafts are produced in the country and this industry is a symbol of resistance economy.
