The presence of Iran Post Bank in the villages facilitates and accelerates business development
According to the financial news report, citing the General Department of Public Relations of Post Bank of Iran, Behzad Shiri, CEO of Post Bank of Iran, met and talked with the governor of the province, Zain al-Abidin Razavi Khorram (Abadin Khorram), during his trip to East Azarbaijan province on Thursday, October 27.
In this meeting, the managing director of Post Bank of Iran explained the history of the bank’s activity and mission in the villages to provide all kinds of banking services to the residents of deprived and less privileged areas.
In the continuation of this meeting, Abedin Khorram declared the provision of banking services to the people of the villages as a necessary thing and the post bank services as very valuable and said that the growth and development of less privileged rural areas in various fields of industry, animal husbandry and agriculture is one of the important goals of the 13th government. The presence of Iran Post Bank in the villages facilitates and accelerates business development, and the governorate is ready for any cooperation with the management of Post Bank branches in the province.
Emphasizing that rural development leads to stabilization of the population and reverse migration of villagers, he added: As much as we can reduce the worries of villagers so that they have easier access to banking services, we have helped to further develop the rural economy.
Governor of East Azarbaijan continued: Most of Post Bank’s activities take place in villages, it is very valuable from the point of view of removing deprivation and helping to deepen rural development, and these services should be publicized. Khorram pointed out that currently 28% of the population of the province lives in the villages, but all our efforts are to increase the population living in the villages by providing a platform for reverse migration, and said: “I hope the actions of Post Bank in the villages of the province are a good example.” be on the path of reverse migration and rural development.
In the continuation of this trip, the CEO of Post Bank of Iran and his accompanying delegation from Parlar Asia Company, which received an amount of 1500 billion Rials from the central branch of Tabriz and Sahand Ayman Pa Shoe Manufacturing Company, which received 50 billion Rials in the form of fixed capital from the Employment Law Padayar Raoushi visited the Shariati branch in Tabriz.
According to this report, in this trip, Shiri and his companions participated in the 9th collective idea generation event “On your time” which was held with the aim of exploiting the creativity and innovation of the managers of rural bank counters in the province.
Receiving 160 ideas regarding the development of Post Bank services and products and directly hearing the top 10 ideas from the cashiers of this province was the product of this event. Ideas ranging from “providing services at home to the disabled and the elderly in rural areas” to “establishing provincial think tanks” which, after the initial review, entered the evaluation and feasibility phase in the specialized working groups of the bank’s proposal system.
