The Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution considered the family to be the center of moral education – Mehr news agency Iran and world’s news

According to Mehr news agency, the members of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution issued a statement regarding hijab and chastity, in which they pointed out the importance of the family as the center of moral education and the way to transfer cultural values from one generation to another.

detailed You can read the text of this statement below:

“The issue of “woman” and its related issues, including covering and hijab, is one of the important challenges that our country has faced in the last one or two centuries in the face of “Western modernity”. At the beginning, it was advertised that the reason behind Iran’s backwardness in civilization is religious beliefs, and if women become veiled, Iran will take a step forward like European countries. It was like this that in 1314, the first Pahlavi government of women who believed in the hijab, forced our society to remove the hijab by force and threats, and shot the people who had gathered to protest the removal of the hijab in the Goharshad Mosque in Mashhad, and hundreds and maybe thousands were killed. martyred a person, and none of the claimants of human rights and freedom, either outside Iran or inside the country, protested against that vast and heinous massacre.

The truth is that hijab is an Islamic and Shariah ruling and it is not one of the issues that Islamic schools of thought disagree on. Hijab is one of the commandments whose philosophy is not difficult to understand. Anyone who is familiar with the history of human societies acknowledges that the movement from nudity to covering in all ancient human societies is a sign of the movement towards human life, and modesty and shame, which is covering its accessories and results, is a moral, behavioral and human value. . Covering up causes a woman to be recognized in society by her thoughts and personality, not by her body and beauty; And this is the greatest service that religions, especially Islam, have given to women, which obliges her to observe hijab so that her dignity is preserved and she is not sold or passed around like a commodity. Iranian Muslim women and even non-Muslim Iranian women who have experienced life in Iranian society, with their religious culture and moral education, hate the nudity and immorality common in Western societies. It was this veil and inherent modesty that caused women not to resist the request of the Islamic Republic to observe the hijab after the victory of the Islamic Revolution. The women of our country knew and know that nudity destroys the foundations of family life, and the Islamic Republic’s effort to preserve the hijab is primarily for the benefit of women and girls.

In every society, the family is the center of moral education and the way to transfer cultural values from one generation to another, and weakening the institution of the family in any country means weakening the culture of that country. The collapse of the family is a calamity with various human and social consequences that has spread to Western societies due to the spread of nudity and sexual promiscuity.

Some people think that nudity will become normal when it becomes widespread in Western countries and the problem of sexual relations will be solved; However, as the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated in his meeting with women on January 14, 1401, the increase in nudity and promiscuity has not only not solved the problem in Western societies, but has aggravated it. In fact, what has happened in the West regarding women’s nudity is similar to the increase in the amount of drug addicts consume in addiction, which causes them to lose their sensitivity to a small amount, and with the normalization of that level of consumption, they want more and be more What is in Hollywood movies and some satellite programs and scenes produced in social networks or some books and magazines on the topic of gender is proof of the truth of this statement.

The western world, which is itself plagued by all kinds of anomalies and social disorders caused by nudity and disobedience in sexual relations and the destruction of the family, sympathizes with Iranian women whose rights have been ignored by observing the hijab. But it is true that they are more upset and worried about the “independence” of Iran. The West, since the Renaissance, has become accustomed to calling itself “civilized” and giving itself the right to define “civilization and being civilized” for the whole world and force everyone to accept it. The previous president of the United States spoke of the “milking cow” in the oil-rich region of Asia, and the current president of the United States says that the rest of the countries in the world are nothing more than a patch of America’s jeans. Now, if a nation like the Iranian nation rises up to achieve the independence of its country, and the efforts of its faithful and self-sacrificing men and women, whose martyr Qassem Soleimani is their example, take over the authority of the administration of its country, in the eyes of the Western powers, it commits an unforgivable sin. has been Yes, from the point of view of those who look at Islamic countries as “milking cows”, which sin is greater and which thinking is more dangerous than that a nation wants to be independent in politics, economy, science, technology, culture and lifestyle and based on values Make your own decisions and act according to your own norms! By observing the hijab, which should be seen as a clear symbol of Islamic belief and a flag of her cultural independence, the Iranian woman has said no to nudity and western lifestyle, and the West does not tolerate such boldness. We have forgotten how a few years ago a German man attacked a young Egyptian woman with a knife and killed her in front of the court judge and her husband for the crime of observing hijab and Islamic clothing. The behavior of the players of the German national football team in protest against the Qatari authorities’ ban on advertising and promoting symbols of homosexuality in the World Cup is another example of the arrogant spirit of Westerners to impose their norms in the field of gender affairs on all the people of the world.

Contrary to what is advertised, the experience of forty-four years of the Islamic Republic of Iran has proven that the hijab does not in any way prevent participation in social activities and achieving scientific, artistic, sports, economic and cultural successes. The Iranian woman has played a role in the sacred defense and the imposed eight-year war that shines like a star in the darkness of history. Even today, Iranian Muslim women are present in all fields by observing the Islamic hijab and are gaining better and more achievements day by day.

Muslim women of Iran have the right to ask the western governments that claim to support women’s freedom in Iran under the pretext of ignoring the rights and freedoms of Iranian women due to the observance of the Islamic hijab, why when in some countries of our region, until recently, women They were not allowed to drive, they did not protest; And why, when a writer like “Jamal Khashoggi” was abducted and dismembered for the crime of a few criticisms, and his body disappeared in acid, were they not worried about human rights not being respected?

Finally, it should be said that confronting what is called “non-hijab” in our society must be completely intelligent and realistic. As the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution warned, the weakness of some women’s hijab should not be taken as a sign of their disbelief in religious principles and their opposition to the revolution and the Islamic Republic, and in addition to the chador, which is the traditional and comprehensive hijab of Iranian Muslim women, other types should be used. Hijab, examples of which can be seen in other Islamic countries as well, was respected and allowed in the framework of the Sharia ruling.

The Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, emphasizing the necessity and importance of observing the hijab in Iranian society, calls on all the institutions and organizations responsible for this, in addition to fulfilling their legal duties, primarily by explaining the views of Islam and the law on women and the issue of hijab to strengthen The religious foundations of women, especially the young generation, should help to comply with this divine duty, and secondly, in dealing with some violations of the hijab, they should be careful not to fall into the trap that the enemies have designed for our nation, and in the West, which is constantly trying to create all kinds of political dualities. And the society among our people, don’t play.”
