Residents of the historic village of Dolatabad Nizar in Qom, whose houses have been housed in a “mud castle” since ancient times, discussed their problems with the authorities yesterday and waited for their help. The meeting was attended by the deputy governor, the governor and a number of provincial officials who were closely acquainted with the problems of the villagers and gave the necessary explanations to the people to solve these problems.

Face-to-face communication between officials and the people is necessary

The political, security and social deputy governor of Qom told IRNA on the sidelines of the meeting: “One of the duties of officials in the Islamic Republic of Iran is to serve the dear people, especially the honorable people of the villages, who are at the forefront of production, especially in agriculture.”

Ahmad Hajizadeh, referring to the problems of the villagers, including in the field of agricultural water, added: “A large part of the land of this village is in the field of agriculture, which has been very active in recent years.”

He continued: the residents had several issues that they raised their problems by referring to the governor’s office. Today we came to this village with the provincial officials, we were at the service of the people of this village and we heard their problems and it was decided that God willing They rise.

He said: “This government is the symbol of the esteemed president, you see that he uses every opportunity and is present among the people in different parts of the country, and our honor is to go to the people ourselves, not to stay in our rooms, on the floor of the square.” Let’s go and have face-to-face communication with people.

Hajizadeh emphasized on the connection of the officials with the people as much as possible: the people, as soon as they see the officials by their side, it is a relief for them and they endure troubles and problems.

The political, security and social deputy governor of Qom expressed hope that this style and method in the new government in Qom province would reduce the people’s concerns and sympathize with the people.

He added: “Anyway, there are problems, we are under economic siege, the enemies are using all their power, the ‘hard’ war has become a ‘soft’ war, and the enemies are using all means to disappoint the people.”

Hajizadeh added: “We must stand by the people, strengthen our morale and also respond to the problems of the people, and God willing, we will be able to neutralize the tricks of the enemies.”

The governor of Qom also said in an interview with IRNA: “This is the second meeting that we are coming to this village, people have demands that have not received proper attention in the past few years.”

He added: “Their most important demand is that since the construction of the dam on June 6, they have been given a water stream and they had a stream of upstream water that has not been rebuilt for 24 km, so they get the water that the people have from the dam.” ; They do not move inside the village or their agricultural lands.

Morteza Heydari added: “To compensate for that, they were given a well three kilometers from the village to irrigate part of their agricultural lands. Now, according to the law on water affairs, it says that the use of groundwater is subject to regulations.” Which has become a bit stricter, and from that well they used to consume 28 liters per second, which says water affairs; According to the law, they must consume 14 liters per second.

He added: “Another issue was the installation of traffic signs on the roads of this village, which was supposed to the General Directorate of Highways and Road Transport to take action in this regard, and part of the road that has been damaged; To repair.

The governor of Qom pointed out: We also reached an agreement with the police regarding the security of the village.

Heidari said: “Another issue is the village of Dolatabad Nizar, which has been registered in the list of national monuments of Iran, and it was decided that the cultural heritage, by allocating a budget of 100 million Tomans, will study and present a solution or roadmap to improve this village.” Insha’Allah, after doing that, it will definitely bring benefits to the people.

Agricultural well water shortage is one of the problems of Dolatabad Nizar village

The head of the Islamic Council of Dolatabad Nizar village, in an interview with IRNA, said that about 50 families currently live in the village, adding that the houses in this village are located inside a mud castle with 12 towers.

Ahmad Ahmadi, stating that all the towers of the castle are the same size, continued: This castle (or village) has an entrance door that the road next to the castle also has access to the Salafchegan-Isfahan road.

He considered the water shortage of the village agricultural well as one of the problems of the mentioned village and said: “Another problem is the digging of the village roads by water and gas companies, which needs asphalt and repair.”

He added: “The next issue is the ruins of the castle wall (which is located around the village), in which we have corresponded with the cultural heritage, who say; We do not have a budget yet.

The head of the Islamic Council of Dolatabad Neyzar village pointed out: The drinking water of the village is separate, which is supplied through the tap water of Qom province.

Ahmadi stated that due to lack of water, some villagers migrated; He said: “Fortunately, some residents have returned to the village for several years, and God willing, with the help of the government, this village will return to its former development.”

He said: “The walls and towers of this castle are made of clay and mud and people live in this castle today, so I refer to it as the” only “residential castle in the world that I have researched in this field for more than 10 years.” .

He called the “palm-picking” ceremony on the day of Ashura of Hosseini (AS) one of the religious rituals in this village and said: holding this ritual in the village of Dolatabad Nizar has a history of more than 300 years and in terms of “antiquity” after Yazd and Zanjan provinces. This is the third Iranian palm-picking ceremony in this village.

He said that the “palm” is an allusion to the coffin of Imam Hussein (AS) or Hazrat Abolfazl Abbas (AS) that people carry, adding: “On the morning of Ashura, this palm is about three kilometers from inside the village to the Imamzadeh.” Sariyeh Khatoon “is carried on the shoulders of the villagers and is returned to the village on the evening of Ashura, and this palm has eight bases.

Bagheri added: “Unfortunately, the official water supply of this village, the document of which is available in the agricultural jihad of Qom province, has turned into four water stones in this well with 28 water stones coming from the river dam.”

He continued: “The construction of this well revived” hope “in the hearts of the people of this village and many returned to the village. Unfortunately, there are problems in this area, which we hope will be resolved.”

Dolatabad Nizar village is one of the villages in Salafchegan section of Qom city in Qom province, which is about 60 km away from Qom city and is located about 25 km from Salafchegan city on the Salafchegan-Delijan axis (Markazi province).

The historical village “Dolatabad Nizar” was registered in the list of national monuments of Iran in 1391 AH with the number 30553 and its area is about 6 hectares. All the houses of the villagers are located inside the “mud castle” and the entrance to this village is It is the main door of this castle.

The historical village of Dolatabad Neyzar is located about 2 km from the village of Sariyeh Khatoon Imamzadeh.
