Ali Mohammad Rajabi, head of the FATA Police Cyber ​​Crime Detection and Prevention Center, referred to the issue of cyber children and privacy violations and said: Concerns about the safety of children and adolescents have greatly increased, especially on social networks whose main feature is interaction and communication with other users.

He said that the publication of images of children in cyberspace, especially social networks, in addition to violating privacy and the rights of children and adolescents, puts them at risk and abuse of criminals.

The head of the FATA Police Cyber ​​Crime Detection and Prevention Center stressed the issue of keeping children safe in cyberspace and said: “Children and adolescents can be victims of harms and threats due to their young age and lack of mastery and awareness in cyberspace.”

He stated that there are three important points to protect the security and privacy of children in cyberspace: Parents should activate the security and privacy settings of the devices available to children and constantly monitor them; Also monitor their activities.

Colonel Rajabi pointed out: Parents should legislate for the use of cyberspace by children and monitor the activities of children periodically and using monitoring software.

He added: “We should be careful about the images that children can publish in cyberspace, and limit their access, especially to private images.”
