Volleyball can be revived with this championship because we did not perform well in the last few tournaments.
Momeni Moghaddam emphasized: “We can have a very good planning and in the next 4-5 years, young players will be injected into the national team to achieve a good and ideal composition in different stages and competitions up to the Paris Olympic Games.”
He also said about the use of Iranian technical staff in competitions: “In these competitions, the staff can not be tested well.” We have many high level coaches in the country who are up to date. I can name at least 6 coaches, each of whom is very good in the science of practice and psychology. But since we do not have legionnaires as coaches, they are less common. Iranian coaches at the national and club level can be among the best in the world, and this requires the federation to support in this regard. Countries such as Kazakhstan, India and China can take advantage of the presence of Iranian coaches, and we hope that the federation will take action in this regard in the future.
Mo’meni Moghaddam in response to the question of whether countries such as Kazakhstan and India can be a good start for the international activities of Iranian coaches? “These countries have the potential,” he said. A country like Kazakhstan has players physically similar to Russia, but because of the weak structure there, they could not reach that position. So is India. Perhaps the lack of a coach and lack of investment have caused these events. If we can send our coaches to these countries and open the way for their coaching, a good step will be taken in the transfer of coaches. Even we can introduce our coaches to the world on a global scale, like players becoming legionnaires.
