Although the government has stated its opposition to car imports, will it make car negotiations cheaper? The head of the Mashhad Automobile Exhibitors Association believes that even if the negotiations are fruitful, it will not have much effect on the car market. Because the government’s plans in the foreign exchange market are ambiguous.

What is the price of Iranian cars?

Surveys show that car prices were relatively stable on Wednesday (October 12, 1400) and a large number of cars did not record price increases or decreases. For example, the price of Pride 111 remained stable at 154 million Tomans after a few days and Pride 131 remained stable at 139 million Tomans.

The price of Peugeot 206 remained unchanged and 206 Type 5 was recorded at 296 million Tomans. The price of Peugeot 207 with 1400 panoramic gears decreased to 335 million Tomans. The price of Peugeot 405 and Pars remained stable.

Is the car getting cheaper?

Hamidreza Heydari told Tejarat News: “If the government fulfills its promise and keeps the exchange rate stable or even has a plan to reduce the dollar exchange rate, the car will become cheaper, otherwise we should not wait for the car price to decrease.”

“Currently, buyers and sellers are holding hands in the car market,” he said. If the government’s plan to import foreign cars is also determined, it will help the market to prosper. Because the liberalization of imports in the car market is not ineffective.

Last week, Hamidreza Heidari, the head of the Mashhad Auto Exhibitors Union, announced that the sale of foreign cars had been reduced to zero and that no car would be sold in the market until the task was approved by parliament. Because both buyers and sellers have held hands.
