Bitter and sweet narrations from the language of the fire couple

According to the social reporter of Fars News Agency, Mansoureh Javanmard and Ruhollah Mohammadi, an Iranian firefighter couple, shared their memories of their jobs in the Persian morning program of Jam Jam network.

Mansoura Javanmard said: When we are a couple of firefighters, it happens that we also have a joint mission. We shared a station for a while, and when we had a firefighting mission, we were sent together. Coordination between their firefighting couples makes for better operations.

He added: “It is an exaggeration to say that we do not worry about each other in joint operations and we do not distract our spouse and his health, but the coordination that exists between us overcomes this concern and does not cause us to deviate from our main responsibility.” This harmony is great between all the firefighters, and the relationship between all of us must be an emotional one, but certainly this relationship and harmony is more different between their firefighters.

The firefighter continued: I am the shift commander at Karaj station, commanding the team. Each station has three shifts and each shift has a commander. The command of three shifts in each station is the responsibility of the station manager and my wife is in charge of our station.

Regarding their son’s interest in his mother’s and father’s jobs, Javanmard said: “At the beginning of our lives, the presence of both of us was small for our 9-year-old son, so he was not very interested in becoming a firefighter, but now he has pursued this job and is a friend.” They are on fire.

“Every moment of our work is a sense of love and affection for people,” he said. The feeling of saving a human life is a pleasure that cannot be described, bought or acquired. There is a sense of sacrifice in all colleagues, and I think the universe and God have put this feeling in us, and we have this feeling not only in the workplace but everywhere in life.

The firefighter stated: If our child wants to be a firefighter, we will certainly help him and inform him that he will choose, but we will not force him to choose this job; Because my wife and I were not forced and it was our heart’s desire and we would like our child to choose it from the heart.

Javanmard added: “The most difficult mission I went to was in 1982 and the Bam earthquake, which was my first and biggest official mission, and I remember my work as one of the most heartbreaking and sad events.”

“After 19 years of work, I still can’t forget those bitter memories,” he said. We pulled out the body of a mother who had both died while breastfeeding her child, and my hands were shaking when I pulled her out, and I will never forget that scene.

Continuing the program, Ruhollah Mohammadi said: I have been following and interested in this profession since 1979. In 1981, I succeeded in entering the firefighting job after passing various tests and trials and I was able to get where I wanted to go in this job. My wife was a firefighter before she got married, and I met her in the same profession, which is one of my greatest achievements in firefighting.

He said: “Most of our missions do not have good memories, but one of the missions that can be remembered as a good memory was the debris removal mission that we were able to get a child out of the rubble properly and safely, and the moment we were sure of his health.” It was very enjoyable for me.

The firefighter added: “People say firefighting is love; I want to say that this is a mutual love between us and the people. With all the experiences I have gained over the years, I would like to work stronger than before.

Mohammadi, while honoring the memory of the martyrs of Plasco, the martyrs of the train accident and October 28, 1952, continued: I hope that the days of the Iranian people will always be full of health and without accidents.
