Chamran: More than 3 million people participated in the Ghadir festival

Mehdi Chamran, head of the Tehran City Council, in an interview with Fars Social Reporter, mentioned the celebration of Ghadir in Tehran and said: “It is very valuable to do these things.” Fireworks were used in some of the main squares of the city on Ghadir Eid.

Emphasizing the importance of Ghadir, he said: It is very important to give importance to these holidays, and Eid Ghadir is the Eid of the province and for us it has a provincial basis.

The head of Tehran city council stated that the citizens of Tehran welcomed the celebration of Ghadir Eid and said that there were traffic problems in this regard. Anyway, with this amount of population, traffic jams will be created in some places, of course, it was already announced which roads will be blocked and citizens should use public vehicles.

Chamran stated that more than 3 million people participated in this celebration and said: Anyway, predictions were made for the transportation of citizens by subway and bus.

He emphasized: People gave a good welcome to this celebration, and the departments and organizations had spontaneous movements, which is commendable.
