In another part of his speech, Bazrpash, while recalling the document of interaction of the Court of Audit with the General Inspection Organization, which was concluded in order to fulfill the 8-article decree of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in fighting economic corruption, called for reviewing and updating this document for synergy. – Investigation of overdraft of water from underground sources

– Investigating and handling the transfer of river area and bed

– Pathology of measures taken in managing the electricity crisis in the production, transmission and distribution sectors

– Investigating the performance of rural and urban water supply projects in the face of drinking water crisis

– Study of obstacles and challenges in the process of mineral exploration in the country

Monitoring performance-based budgeting system

– Check the method and determine the cost price

– Evaluation of the effectiveness of measures taken regarding desertification

– Reviewing the relevant plans for controlling and regulating the border waters of the country and the corresponding main networks

– Review the performance of electronic government systems

– Investigating how to transfer lands to natural and legal persons

Optimal use of the expert capacity of the Court of Audit regarding financially burdensome complaints related to natural and legal persons against executive bodies in order to protect the treasury, take special measures to expedite the processing of complaints and requests of the Court of Audit regarding approvals, instructions and Illegal directives of the government and the executive apparatus were other points raised at this meeting by the President of the Court of Audit.

Mehrdad Bazarpash announced the full readiness of the Court of Audit to provide technical and expert services to the judiciary to announce a more accurate verdict in economic cases.

Hojjat-ul-Islam and Muslims “Rahimi”, the religious judge of the Court of Audit, also referred to the important responsibilities of this court, including the quasi-judicial approach in the form of filing cases related to the violation of expenses within the approved credits. During the meeting, Ali Kamyar, the Prosecutor of the Court of Audit, appreciated the serious determination of the judiciary and its presidency to develop and strengthen supervision in various fields and to pay attention to regulatory bodies such as the Court of Accounts. In line with the Supreme Leader’s orders regarding the need for coordination of oversight bodies, including the Inspection Agency, the Court of Audit and the Ministry of Intelligence.

Kamyar added: “In the history of the Court of Accounts, the presence of the head of the judiciary in this court is considered a rare thing, and this issue shows the serious determination of Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Mohseni Ejei in the category of fighting corruption.”
