Colonel Ahmad Shirani, head of the Rahoor NAJA Traffic Information and Control Center, in an interview with Fars News Agency, regarding the latest weather and traffic situation in the country’s transportation axes, reported scattered rain in some axes of Ardabil, Gilan, Mazandaran and Golestan provinces.

The head of Rahvar NAJA Traffic Information and Control Center stated: Currently, the traffic in the north to the south of the Karaj-Chalous axis in the area of ​​Hezar Cham, Siah Bisheh is semi-heavy and in the north to the south of the Haraz axis, tunnel number one, Karaj-Qazvin freeway. At Shahid Kalantari and Mehrshahr terminals, as well as the Tehran-Fasham axis, the Rudak area has been reported to be semi-heavy.

He advised his traveling compatriots not to postpone their return to Friday due to the limited capacity of the roads, and to return to management and planning before Friday and on the following days of the week.

Colonel Shirani advised to avoid traveling due to heavy traffic on the northern roads of the country and noted:

Chalous road is not suitable for travel and route selection due to low traffic capacity in these conditions; In these conditions, it is better to travel from other alternative axes such as Haraz and Firoozkooh and Qazvin-Rasht freeway, which have a higher capacity.

The head of the Rahoor NAJA Traffic Information and Control Center reiterated that travel to and from the cities of the red and orange groups is still prohibited in accordance with the approvals of the National Corona Headquarters.
