Increasing medical capacity from this year’s entrance exam / Regulations for increasing dental capacity on the table of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution

Abolfazl Bagherifard, Deputy Minister of Education of the Ministry of Health, in an interview with Fars News Agency Health Reporter, said: “Increasing the admission capacity of medical students in this year’s entrance exam has been definitely implemented and 4,060 people will be included in this year’s booklet.”

Referring to the issue of increasing the capacity of assistants, he continued: “Increasing the capacity of assistants will be done through the admission of native assistants for this year to eliminate the shortage of specialist doctors in the country, especially in deprived areas.”

Bagherifard said: the Ministry of Health has sent the regulations for increasing the medical capacity to the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution in due time.

He also pointed out that the increase of dental capacity in the headquarters of the Comprehensive Scientific Map of the country in the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution is undergoing expert stages, he added: And the medical assistant acted in a timely manner and in accordance with the task assigned by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution.

The Deputy Minister of Education of the Ministry of Health said: “At the same time, we are waiting for the necessary funding to increase capacity because medical students in addition to educational space and dormitories to laboratories and clinical skills centers with special equipment and most importantly the presence of hospital beds and appropriate educational spaces in hospitals. It should be noted that now with the same number of medical students, dentists and medical assistants in terms of educational-medical space.
