According to the Fars News Agency’s urban group, a ceremony was held to honor the families of the martyrs, veterans and martyrs working in the Tehran and Suburbs Metro Operating Company today on the occasion of the second anniversary of the martyrdom of General Haj Qasem Soleimani and Resistance Week.
Mehdi Chamran, Chairman of the Islamic Council of Tehran, Mehdi Shayesteh Asl, CEO of the Tehran and Suburbs Metro Operating Company, Mehdi Fakhrizadeh, son of Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, along with a group of commanders of eight years of holy defense, attended the ceremony.
Mehdi Shayesteh Asl, CEO of Tehran and Suburbs Metro Operating Company, stated at the beginning of the ceremony: The approach of the mayor of Tehran is to emphasize the honor of the honorable family of the martyrs. I consider myself the servant of the martyrs and the small families of the martyrs.
The CEO of Tehran and Suburbs Metro Operating Company stated that one of the characteristics of Sardar Shahid Soleimani as a national and transnational hero was special care and respect for the families of the martyrs, adding: “The Supreme Leader of the Revolution said many valuable words about Martyr Soleimani.” One of his sentences is as follows: “Martyr Soleimani taught the software of resistance and the model of struggle to the nations.” This sentence, like other menus of the Leader of the Revolution, is a very glorious sentence.
Shayesteh Asl stated: The Supreme Leader of the Revolution has also said about Martyr Fakhrizadeh that the high position that God bestowed on Martyr Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was the reward of his unique efforts and sincerity, and this position is not comparable to any other worldly position.
He stated that Martyr Fakhrizadeh emphasized on doing first-hand work, adding: “This honorable martyr said that if we move according to the set standards, we can not take shortcuts.” Our job is to do first hand and walk in unknown lands.
The CEO of Tehran and Suburbs Metro Operating Company stated: “Today, we are proud to decorate two metro buildings named Shahid Soleimani and Shahid Fakhrizadeh to benefit from the spirit of the martyrs with this naming.”
Building No. 2 of Tehran Metro Operating Company was decorated by Mehdi Fakhrizadeh as “Shahid Fakhrizadeh Scientist Building”.
